Vest pocket drum kits?
To top off the choice of products Framus offered in 1959 the Giannini by Framus drum kits for drummers, thus creating the possibility to setup a complete band or at least a basic rhythm section with drums, bass and guitars. Noticeable is here the practical angle: The complete drum kit could be packed in two cases thus allowing for easy and space-saving transportation.
Six different kits were available: from the small beginner drum kit to the professional “luxury kit for any demand”. And there were also some prominent Giannini by Framus endorsers: Kenny Clarke, Zutty Singleton, Gene Krupa, Teddy Paris and Lionel Hampton were featured in the original brochure.
