Classical guitars & young talent promotion

Classical guitars covered an extremely broad spectrum at Framus. The transition of budget models was more or less smooth and went from student and beginner models to professional instruments like the ones from the Bräuer family workshops. Names like Ideal, Rio, Carmen, Aida, Marina or Barcelona are a strong element of Framus" catalog since the beginning of the sixties. Concert guitars were also present in the catalog until the early seventies.

Framus worked with music educators and teachers in the seventies to develop a program geared toward early musical education and which was based on the original ideas of Framus founder Fred Wilfer. Thus a concept was developed at an early stage that promoted not only the education of young talent, but also ensured that this new blood gets the adequate and corresponding equipment in their hands.
