1971 Framus Strato (6) Model 5/155 (10230)
A couple of 1971 Framus “Jazzmaster’s” if you will. The guitar on the right was made in January and the one on the left is from September. There were a number of design changes between the 2 examples. The September Model has a roller bridge, top routing for your picking arm and back routing where it meets your body, like a Strat. The January version is Slab. The September Model has a book matched Bird’s Eye Maple Top and Back. I have had a few alterations made that have improved both guitars. Added a nut instead of the steel nut that came with them and additional fret and side markers to complete the fretboard. This a very light, balanced and fun to play guitar with pickups that are close to P90’s.
